First Communions and Confirmations
A milestone of faith: Students celebrate their spiritual growth during the May 2026 ceremonies.

At Santa María del Valle School, we educate the mind, body, and soul to transform Honduras, guiding our students from their earliest stages of learning through their final year of schooling. We are committed to providing a holistic education that strengthens not only academic knowledge but also the values, skills, and Christian principles of every student. Within an environment rooted in respect, responsibility, and service, we aim to shape individuals of integrity who are capable of making positive contributions to their families, their communities, and the development of our country.
As part of this spiritual formation, fifth-grade students receive the Sacrament of First Communion, and tenth-grade students receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Preparation for both sacraments takes place with the guidance of our catechists and culminates in celebrations at the Holy Spirit Church (Iglesia Espíritu Santo). We extend special thanks to Father Juan F. for his support and guidance throughout this important spiritual journey.

En la Escuela Santa María del Valle, educamos en mente, cuerpo y alma para transformar a Honduras, acompañando a nuestros estudiantes desde sus primeras etapas de aprendizaje hasta su último año de formación. Nuestro compromiso es brindar una educación integral que fortalezca no solo los conocimientos académicos, sino también los valores, habilidades y principios cristianos de cada alumno. A través de un ambiente basado en el respeto, la responsabilidad y el servicio, buscamos formar personas íntegras, capaces de contribuir positivamente a sus familias, comunidades y al desarrollo de nuestro país.
Como parte de esta formación, los estudiantes de quinto grado reciben el sacramento de la Primera Comunión y los jóvenes de décimo grado el de la Confirmación. La preparación para ambos sacramentos se realiza con el acompañamiento de nuestras catequistas y culmina con celebraciones en la Iglesia Espíritu Santo. Agradecemos especialmente al Padre Juan F. por su apoyo y guía durante este importante proceso espiritual.
