ESMV Competes in the ABSH National Chess Tournament

Kicking off the chess category, this weekend a group of students from different grade levels participated in the ABSH National Chess Tournament, where they had the opportunity to test their knowledge, strategic skills, and analytical abilities.
Throughout the competition, the students demonstrated perseverance, concentration, and respect toward their opponents as they faced participants from different schools and backgrounds. Each match presented a unique challenge that encouraged them to think critically, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to new game situations.
This experience allowed them not only to strengthen their learning and gain valuable competitive experience, but also to develop a strong sense of sportsmanship. Our teams prepared for several months alongside their teachers and outstanding chess mentors, who guided the students through every stage of their training with dedication, passion, and commitment.
Thanks to this continuous work, the students were able to develop their skills, confidence, and sportsmanship, giving their best throughout the competition and proudly representing our institution with enthusiasm and responsibility.

Abriendo la categoría de ajedrez, este fin de semana un grupo de alumnos de distintos grados participó en el Torneo Nacional ABSH, donde tuvieron la oportunidad de poner a prueba sus conocimientos, habilidades estratégicas y capacidad de análisis.
A lo largo de la competencia, los estudiantes demostraron perseverancia, concentración y respeto hacia sus contrincantes, enfrentándose a participantes de diversas escuelas y contextos. Cada partida representó un reto distinto que los impulsó a pensar críticamente, tomar decisiones bajo presión y adaptarse a nuevas situaciones de juego.
Esta experiencia les permitió no solo fortalecer su aprendizaje y adquirir mayor experiencia competitiva, sino también fomentar el espíritu deportivo. Nuestros equipos se prepararon durante varios meses junto a sus maestros y destacados mentores del ajedrez, quienes, con dedicación, vocación y mucho compromiso, acompañaron a los alumnos en cada etapa de su formación.
Gracias a este trabajo constante, los estudiantes pudieron desarrollar habilidades, confianza y espíritu deportivo, dando lo mejor de sí durante la competencia y representando a la institución con entusiasmo y responsabilidad.
